The “Liberty and Justice” paintings were done as a commentary on the over saturation of guns in American society. The pieces were composed in a playful pop-art style in order to emphasize the view that these dangerous weapons have taken on the guise of toys. We take the liberty to have toy guns and video games featuring guns, but then what justice must be done when this playful idea is taken to the streets with serious consequences?
The Liberty and Justice paintings were featured in the Justice for All Exhibit.
